That is where the new Arcane system really kicks in. Storm Charge sits right at the centre of it for a lot of builds. Understanding Storm Charge

Storm Charge is not some flashy skill you press; it is a quiet upgrade that just makes your build feel better. You slot it onto your amulet through the Arcane system, and from then on it just sits there, doing work in the background. Players chasing perfect setups love it because it feels like you are getting away with something: more damage or utility, no extra pathing on the passive tree, and no awkward respec later. The catch is that you cannot just slam random items into a bench and hope. Farming Distilled Emotions

The core of the process is three specific Emotions: Distilled Fear, Distilled Terror, and Distilled Envy. You will see a lot of other Emotions drop, so it is easy to get distracted, but these three are the ones you need for Storm Charge. The “honest” way to get them is running Ultimate Delirium maps. If you have tried them, you know the deal already. The deeper you push into the mist, the more things hurt, and the more frequently you see the good stuff. You stack scarabs, juice the map mods, and just live with the fact that sometimes nothing drops and sometimes you get a small pile of Emotions in one run. Using Alva And The Exchange

Not everyone wants to chain Delirium all night, so the other route is Alva in your hideout. She now has a Currency Exchange interface that feels a bit like a tiny in‑game market. You dump excess resources you do not care about and buy the Distilled Emotions you actually need. Prices move around, so you might check a few times across a session rather than impulse buying, but it is a good option when you are dry on drops or just bored of mist mapping. A lot of players bounce between both methods: farm a bit when they are in the mood, then top up missing pieces through Alva when they want to move on with their build.

Infusing Storm Charge Safely

Once you finally have Fear, Terror, and Envy, the scary part starts. You open the infusion window by right‑clicking one of the Emotions, then put your amulet in the top slot. Underneath, you have three slots that matter far more than they look. From left to right it has to be Distilled Fear in the first slot, Distilled Terror in the second, Distilled Envy in the third. If you swap even two of them, you are rolling something else entirely. Before you click anything, check the text preview. It should clearly say “Storm Charge” in the box. If it does not, do not convince yourself it is fine. Back out, fix the order, and check again. Once you hit infuse, that amulet is locked, and nobody wants to ruin a rare drop or a well‑crafted base for no reason.
